First of all it’s been a full year since we got a little facelift and secondly we are already halfway through 2015. Madness!If you mention the word July here in Galway the word‘festival’ automatically follows it. It’s one of our favourite times of year and this year is no exception.Now, here is a little brief summary of what lies ahead for the next four weeks;The Galway Film Fleadh(@GalwayFilm)#FilmFleadh7th – 12th July 2015This is Ireland’s leading festival so it’s one we’re pretty proud of here at The House. The committee are our neighbours as well actually so that always helps. There is so much entertainment lined up for this festival and our recommendations include:Older Than IrelandFriday, 10th July, 20:00Town Hall Theatre (@THTG) A feature documentary that explores what it means to have lived one hundred years in Ireland, as seen through the eyes of our oldest citizens.You’re Ugly TooSaturday, 11th July, 18:00Town Hall Theatre (@THTG) Will is released from prison on compassionate leave to care for his niece Stacey after the death of her mother. As they both head into the sleepy Irish midlands and attempt to be a family, they suffer a series of setbacks. As their future hangs in the balance, they must search for a new way forward together.
