• Shop Street & The Latin Quarter. Browse independent boutiques, jewellers and gift shops on Shop Street, three minutes from the hotel, then stop for coffee or brunch in one of the Latin Quarter’s cafes.
• Spanish Arch & Galway City Museum. A gentle stroll along the Corrib to the Spanish Arch, right by the hotel, with the City Museum next door if anyone fancies an hour indoors.
• Afternoon Tea at The Hardiman. Treat the group to Afternoon Tea in the Parlour Lounge at our sister hotel, a five minute walk on Eyre Square, a nice way to spend a couple of hours before dinner.
• Boat Trip on Galway Bay. Several operators run daytime cruises from Galway Docks, a short walk from the hotel, with views out to the Burren and the Aran Islands.

How many people can stay together in one room?

It depends on the room type. Our triple rooms suit two adults and one child, and our Apartment Family Suite has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests, ideal for a bigger group who want to stay under one roof. For larger parties, we can help coordinate several rooms together.

Is parking available at The House Hotel?

We don’t have on-site parking, however, Hynes Yard Multi-Storey Car Park is a short walk away at approximately twelve euro per twenty four hours. Most guests find they don’t need a car for the weekend, since Shop Street, the Spanish Arch and Eyre Square are all within easy walking distance.

Breakfast is a grab and go service, so you can help yourselves whenever suits your group’s plans for the day, no fixed sitting time to work around.
