Food on the Edge
Our neighbour andgood friend JP McMahon never fails to amaze us. JP has brought us the much loved Cava and Eatat Massimo, and recently retained his Michelin Star for Galway's infamousAniar. In just a couple of weeks time the world's top chefs will descend onGalway, not something any town/ city can claim. The second year of Food On TheEdge is highly anticipated and we look forward to welcoming them all.

Graduations
It's an occasion tobe celebrated and marked and here in The House we are the perfect venue to doso. Offering a three course menu for €24.95 you and your family can celebratein style. Obviously the most important person on the day is the graduate and foryou there is a complimentary cocktail of choice on the day. To book yourgraduation dinner call The House Bistro on 091 538 900 or emailrestaurant@thehousehotel.ie

Galway takesHalloween pretty serious and we're upping the ante this year as The House willbe transformed into The Haunted House. As always the pink shirts will have theweekend off as The House Team play dress up! Prizes for best dressed throughoutthe weekend and make sure you keep an eye out for our Halloween cocktailspecials... Not to be missed!

Galway ComedyFestival
The week leading upto the October bank holiday weekend can only mean one thing - Galway's ComedyFestival! Every year the line up seems to get better and better and this hearis no different. With many shows sold out make sure you nab those tickets ASAP.We already have ours snapped up for the AMAZING Abandoman and radio's very bestDermot &Dave.

Carnevil
There could nearlybe a blog on Halloween alone with the amount going on. If you're not a bigscary-pants (or if you want to frighten the bejesus out of one you know) makesure you take a trip to Carnevil. This is the second year of it in Galway andspeaking by experience after last year's one I actually think it was one of thebest (most frightening!) experiences!

Macnas
If you have grown upin Galway then Macnas has been part of your life. This year is no exception andhere in The Latin Quarter we are delighted to be supporting this year's parade. This is the largest free event in the West of Ireland and the annual Paradereturns to Galway on Sunday 30th October2016 at 5.30pm, in association with the Latin Quarter. This year’sparade, Savage Grace, is a restless ballad, a deliriously dark anddelicious waltz between love and loss. Hundreds of colourful Macnas volunteerperformers will transform and transfix, bringing a birth, a wedding, a funeraland everything in between, to the streets of Galway.

So as you can see, there's no shortage of things going on in October!

As always, staytuned for more,
