Cancellation Policy
When you make a reservation for accommodation you are entering a legally binding contract with the House hotel. Reservations cancelled with less than 48 hours notice prior to date of arrival for whatever reason, will be liable to cost of the first night’s stay. Failing to arrive, will result in a minimum penalty equal to one night’s stay per room to your credit card, account or charged against a deposit that has been received. If you give the correct notice, then you will not be charged anything.
If you are forced to cancel your booking please write, email or call us immediately and obtain a cancellation reference from us. By giving us your credit card details you are authorising us to charge your credit card, for your accommodation in full. In practice your card will not be charged until the arrival day, so this gives you the option to pay by cash or by credit card upon your arrival.
Any unpaid cancellation charges, telephone bills, unregistered extra guests or damages and removals (e.g. mini bar, towels, linens, fixtures and fittings) will be charged to your credit card.
Credit Card Guarantee
Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card details provided to us are current, correct and valid for the period during your stay. No confirmed reservation is accepted unless supported by a current valid credit card.
Advance Booking Rate
To avail of this special rate you must book 14 days in advance of arrival. We will need a credit card prepayment to reserve your room. To ensure that you receive this special advance purchase rate, we will charge your credit card full prepayment of your reservation upon booking. Changes to your reservation are not permitted. Please note that your prepayment for this special rate is non-refundable. Dates are non-changeable and booking is non-transferable. In the event that the credit card declines and we are unable to process the payment, the reservation will be cancelled.
Check In / Check Out
At the House hotel we are delighted to accommodate you in any way we can…
Check in time is 2pm; check out time is 11am. If you are arriving before 2pm, we would advise you to book your room from the night before as we cannot guarantee an early check-in.
Smoking Policy
At the House hotel we have a limited number of smoking rooms. Should you wish to reserve a smoking room please inform our staff at the time of your booking. All smoking rooms are subject to availability.
By making a reservation and / or signing our registration book you are agreeing to be bounded by the above terms and conditions.
