Spanish Arch
The Spanish Arch is located just around the corner from our hotel in Galway city centre and was used as a lookout post to warn of any danger coming from the sea. It is thought to be part of the medieval city wall and is the location where the River Corrib meets Galway Bay.
St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church
The Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas is the largest medieval parish church in Ireland in continuous use as a place of worship at the heart of Galway’s life. Amongst the visitors to St Nicholas’ over the centuries the most famous is probably Christopher Columbus who prayed here during a visit to Galway in 1477.

The Cliffs of Moher
A must see - these magnificent cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean to a height of nearly 200m and extend for a distance of 8km from Hag’s Head to a point beyond O’Brien’s Tower.
Kylemore Abbey & Gardens
When visiting Connemara, the Kylemore Abbey & Gardens are a must see. Roam around the gardens or examine the architecture of the Abbey founded in 1852.
